Authorities of the Bayelsa State Police Command have said its would brook no non-sense from any of her personnel who engage in any  form of sharp practices at  the four land borders of the state while discharging  their duties of enforcing the lockdown  directive.

The Commissioner of Police, Nkereuwem Akpan gave the  stern warning during a tour to the land borders to effect the total lockdown as directed by the state Governor.

The police boss, also tasked the officers to  be diligent and be professional in their duties ,adding that the fight against the Covid-19 must be sustained and any attempt to loose guard would  jeopardize  all efforts .

He was accompanied by the Technical Adviser to the Governor on Security, Boma Sparo Jack, former Commissioner of Police, Akpoebi Agberebi, and the Bayelsa Volunteers boss, Lucky Oyinkuro Asanakpo.
