Religious Bodies in Bayelsa State are now free to hold mid-week services, as Governor Douye Diri lifted the ban.

The governor, on Tuesday, urged all religious leaders to still maintain all existing COVID-19 protocols/guidelines during worship, as the pandemic is far from over.

This pronouncement was made when the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Bayelsa State Chapter, led by its chairman paid a congratulatory visit to the governor over his victory at the Supreme Court in the case with Timi Alaibe.
