Passengers traveling by air must arrive at the airport three hours before boarding, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN has said.

The FAAN announced the new protocol on Monday via its Twitter handle, it said that the early arrival by travellers would enable efficient checks and screening before boarding.

”COVID__19 Flight Resumption Protocol for Passengers: You are advised to arrive at the Airport 3 hours before your flight due to the new COVID-19 safety checks.”

Furthermore, the authority said that travelers  must ensure they have  their face masks on or would not be allowed into airports’ premises and keep maintain two  meters distance from each other at the airports .
